On January 1st, 2022 I started a project to take self-portraits every day this year. It's been three months since then, and I thought I should share more in depth about the background behind the photos.
The first shoot that I did was New Years Day - and with that the typical type of photos that go along with that show the excitement of going into a New Year. Instead, though, I think a lot of us felt a little worn down going into this year. We were excited and positive going into 2021, things were going to be better... but the year didn't go how many of us planned. So that's what I wanted to reflect in my photo for this day.
